I was going to make a version out of TPU but the tolerances on this print in PLA was tight enough that while not pressure rated it should be more than enough to stop air exchange.
If you are really want it air tight use a bit of silicone around the edge before you insert it.
It requires a bit of force to snap into place. Removal takes a bit more force and pushing from behind.
