INTRO
The Wolfbox MF50 is a great tool but it always felt a little small and cheap in the hand. I made this TPU cover to improve the feel of the device and hopefully improve its durability, while maintaining the design aesthetic as best I could.
PRINTING:
Note: Cut and print a section of the bottom cover to test fitment. You may need to scale the Bottom Cover and End Cap to achieve desired tightness.
Filament: SainSmart TPU - 95A
All Parts:
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Infill 50-100%
Wall Count: 1 (YMMV, my best prints were single wall)
Top/Bottom Layers: 5 or more
Speed: 30mm/s
Supports: Only for Top Cover
Print the Top Cover with the airflow arrow pointing up. Enable support enforcers for the overhang/bridge at the top only.
INSTALLATION:
Insert the MF50 into the bottom cover.
Make a cut in the middle of the bridge at the front part of Top Cover where the nozzle is. (This will allow you to stretch it over the top half)
Slide the Top Cover onto the top of the MF50 from the solid rear side first, and then stretch the front part halves (that you cut) around and press them back together and into the notch in the bottom cover.
Press the end cap onto the front of the Top Cover, it should snap into place.
Profit.
