This part is designed to fit the Simond Ocelot Hyperlight mountaineering ice axe sold by Decathlon.
When using the ice axe, I found that it is pretty uncomfortable to put weight on your hand when using the ice axe as a walking stick. So I made this handle to provides a larger and more comfortable holding surface. It clicks in place using the existing hole on the metallic blade. It is easy to remove, even one handed if necessary. Also it is small enough to fit the ice axe on regular backpack fixture/straps without removing the part.
I printed mine with PETG, 0.2 layer height, 3 perimeters and 20% infill. The long rectangular face is on the print bed.
