Replacement bumpers for a few types of Tromner reflex hammers. So far, I've made replacement bumpers for the very popular MDF Tromner series (fits plastic and steel models), the famous V Mueller, the Miltex 1-211 (my personal favorite), and a KaWe hammer (made it for a friend; I'm not exactly sure which model(s) it will fit). These bumpers have a flat striking surface (rather than rounded/domed). Trust me, this is how it should be. The V Mueller comes with a flat bumper; whereas the others come with a rounded bumper.

The original rubber bumpers will harden and crack over time, so these replacements are a great way to keep your hammer feeling new.

I use NinjaTek Chinchilla 75A with 3 perimeters, 30% gyroid infill, and 4 top and bottom solid layers. This produces a bumper that is a bit softer than a fresh rubber bumper. If you prefer a firmer feel, you can increase the perimeters, infill, solid layers, or you can try a harder TPU, such as 85A or 95A.

I use a height range modifier to add 100% infill where the base of the bumper meets the top of the bumper, which has improved the durability of the bumpers.

Chichilla can be difficult to print. I've uploaded my custom filament profile (NinjaTek Chichilla 1.2), which limits the speed and lowers the retraction settings. I use this filament profile along with the 0.20mm Quality preset on my MK3S+ with the following modifications:

Layers, perimeters, infill:

-Top and Bottom solid layers: 4

-Perimeters: 3

-Infill: 30% gyroid

-Scarf: everywhere

Speed:

-First layer: 10

-Perimeters: 10

-Infill: 15

Other:

-Infill/perimeter overlap: 10%

This prints very well on my MK3S+. I've had success on an XL too, but this requires bypassing the reverse Bowden tube by suspending the filament above the printer for direct loading into the extruder.
