This model is a 3D‑printed rear enclosure (back box) for the M5Stack Tab5, featuring an integrated storage compartment with a sliding lid.

The M5Stack Tab5 is shipped without a rear cover, leaving the battery protruding and exposed. This design adds a protective enclosure that covers the battery, improves handling, and adds a practical storage space for small accessories such as earbuds, short cable, USB adapters, SD cards, or other small items, making the Tab5 more practical for portable or field use.

The sliding lid keeps the contents secure while remaining easy to open with no tools, hinges, or additional hardware required.

The enclosure mounts using the six factory M3 screw points already built into the Tab5. No modification of the device is required—just reuse/insert 6× M3 screws to secure the printed enclosure.

Features:

  • Rear enclosure for M5Stack Tab5 (adds missing back cover)

  • Integrated storage compartment

  • Sliding lid (no screws or hinges)

  • Suitable for cables, earbuds, SD cards, etc.

  • Clean, compact, and functional design

  • Fully 3D printable

Hardware required:

  • 6× M3 x 16mm screws (max screw length 20 mm)
