This specific Haughton Elevator Company emblem was used as a small hatch covering the emergency brake release keyhole on traction elevators installed in the 1960s. The design allows for flexibility when printing, although I suggest doing the following:

Slicing

Both STL files should already be correctly scaled (3.75 in side length for the frame, and 3.175 in diameter for the actual logo).

As for printing bed layout, my test print was positioned as shown:

The actual printing requires no supports to be generated.

Assembly

Once your print is finished, make sure the logo fits snugly into the frame. Just like the actual thing, the logo comes off to reveal where the emergency brake release keyhole is. While both printed parts should securely fit together, if you do not want the logo to be removed, I would suggest gluing it down.
