Summary
Compact snap-fit enclosure for the https://manuel-alvarez-alvarez.github.io/elrs-usb/ project — an ESP32-S3 firmware that turns any ExpressLRS receiver into a USB HID game controller for flight simulators.
Houses an ESP32-S3 Super Mini and an ELRS 2.4 GHz Mini receiver side by side in a pocket-sized form factor. Plug it into any PC via USB-C and fly with your radio transmitter — no drivers needed.
Design features
Two-piece snap-fit design (base + lid), no screws or hardware required
Honeycomb ventilation pattern on the lid for passive cooling
USB-C port cutout on one end for direct plug-in to your PC
Board retention rails sized for the ESP32-S3 Super Mini (22.5 x 18 mm)
What you need
1x ESP32-S3 Super Mini dev board (or ESP32-S3 Zero from waveshare)
1x ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz mini receiver (e.g. BetaFPV EP2, HappyModel EP1)
4 wires soldered between the boards: 5V, GND, GPIO 12 → TX, GPIO 13 → RX
Print settings
0.1 mm layer height
0.2 mm nozzle
ABS or ASA recommended (better heat tolerance for enclosed electronics)
No supports needed
