I decided to make some single cell microfossil slides that save me about $6+ shipping every time I print one. Pretty easy print using PLA. I printed the slide vertically, no suppports. The slide may be a tight fit depending on the tolerances of your printer. Once the glass slide is fully inserted, it should be friction fit into place and not slide out too easily. I've found it depends on the individual glass slide as well. Some are more loose than others which is likely due to the manufacturing tolerance of the slide. Hope someone finds this useful!
The square retainer is meant to hold a white piece of paper in place and can be superglued into the slide for permanent retention. This makes it so you're not viewing the 0.4mm print lines with whatever you're trying to observe under the microscope.
