I designed this pattern several years ago to add detail to a set of pieces for the game Tak, because I love the artwork of the Zelda games. Breath of the Wild re-established my appreciation for the art and music of the series, and recently a friend asked for this pattern to apply to other prints - so I have made it tile-able and am releasing it on its own!
For demonstration, I printed a flat sheet of the pattern, painted the whole thing with a deep blue, and then drybrushed it with red and gold to give it the look in the second image.
