Upgrade your garage wall button with this mechanical switch conversion. Instead of a cheap plastic doorbell-style button, this uses standard Cherry MX-compatible switches to trigger your garage door opener.
Mechanism: This is a wired solution. The pins of the mechanical switch are soldered directly to your garage's low-voltage bell wire. (Note: Works with standard "dry contact" openers; newer "Smart" openers may require soldering to a native remote PCB).
Features: Includes a recessed housing to hide the wiring and a standard 1u keycap mount. The back is designed to be screwed directly into a standard wall stud or drywall.
