I got a 2x T-Adapter Microscope Lens for my Mirrorless camera and wanted to mount it to my trinocular microscope. I couldn't mount it to the existing hole as I couldn't get it to focus while mounted, so I had to make an extension tube to get it to focus properly. The extension tube is 80mm long it fits around the ~25mm out diameter of microscope trinocular tube as well as the ~28mm diameter of the 2x lens.
After doing some clearance/fit tests, I have the trinocular adapter at 25.15mm for the bottom and 28.2mm for the lens.
