The most common sizes I've encountered were a bit smaller than 8 cm and 6 cm, cubed. The upper 2 cm of the soily squares are mostly free of roots. It is also important to keep the most outer leaves from any pressure of the container to keep the leaves supplied with water and alive. Thus, I've made it both times 4 cm tall, to leave some air. The ramp on the side is to refill and perhaps check the water levels.

This version has two additional models for spring onions. They have to be taller to support their shape. It's much easier to fill this with water. For that reason you have a model without the nose and overhang.

Happy printing 👋 happy salading 🌿

  • Print with PETG for water-tightness

  • Print with 4 perimeters or more
