This is a quick-release toggle for cards/keys/or anything that needs to be secure but easy to remove. I wanted a more interesting design for my work Id cards. Instead of taking the whole lanyard on/off every time I step away from my desk, I can just attach/detach this instead.
Simply print 1 of the lanyard parts, and as many of the accessory parts as needed. I printed the lanyard part with supports, but you can probably get away without them if your printer has good bridging. I printed this in PLA for testing, but it will probably need to be printed in ABS/ASA or PETG if you plan to leave it in your car
