  • colored design - be sure to check the right color for the heads

  • the Logos (RFID and SpoolSense are transluzent, so the LEDs use for showing the status

    • SpoolSense shows status AND filamentcolor wth the embedded RGB-LED

      • ESP32DevKitC

      • ESP32-S3-Zero

  • screwing together with normal M3 Allen screws selftapping

How to assemble

  • print out the needed parts

    • change the setting of the colors

    • if you dont want colors, use your preferred instead

    • one color is transparent - so the LED of the ESP and the NFC board are brighter

  • connect the case with the "endpart" with 2 M3x20. If possible clamp the parts on a flat surface. The screws are screwed in an angle for easier access - but with the risk, that they shift a little bit on tightening

  • print only the needed mountingplate. One is fpr the ESP32DevKit1, the other for the D1 mini ESP

  • fill in the NFC board before inserting the mountingplate in the case

  • fix the mountingplate with four M3x10 screws. The scewheads will hold the palte securily

  • If something wiggles ... use hotglue ;-)

  • install the SpoolSense firmware

  • wire it correctliy and test it

  • close the case ...

  • ... enjoy
