This design collects dust when flush trimming, chamfering, or routing round-over edges with a Makita RT0701C. Standard attachments require completely removing the router sub-base for installation and removal; this model fits underneath the base and secures from the inside using a threaded lock nut.

Leaving the lock nut slightly loose enables 360-degree rotation of the dust port as you work to keep extraction hoses out of the way. An optional support STL is included to assist slicers with the outer ring overhang during printing.

Dimensions

  • Height below base: 1.4"

  • Threads above base: 0.4"

  • Total Height: 1.9"

  • Outer Diameter (OD): 1.37"

  • Inner Diameter (ID): 1.055"

  • Middle Ring Thickness: 0.1"

Print Settings

To withstand suction forces and hose strain, high structural density is recommended:

  • Layer Height / Resolution: 0.15mm – 0.20mm

  • Infill: 50% – 100% (Gyroid or Grid recommended for torsional strength)

  • Supports: Turn off auto-separation settings in your slicer. Import support STL along with the main body, align and center both models, and assign the support geometry as a modifier/support mesh.
