I wanted to solder some wires together, but didn't have the right springs for another model on here... so I did what I always do, and made my own. Figured I'd cut down the size a bit while I was at it too.
Requires one compression spring per clamp, I used 9.52 diameter x 19.05 length (from this AliExpress kit) but anything close to that should work - not too strong, don't want to end up crushing the wires.
No special print settings or supports are required. Designed and tested with ABS, but any rigid material should work.
Assembly is very straightforward - insert the clamp piece, push it all the way forward, insert the spring in the gap and make sure it slots into the recesses - though inserting the spring can be a bit fiddly. A long thin object (eg scissors) can be useful for adjusting it into position.
Versions included with screw tabs for M3 screws in cap head, 82° countersunk or 90° countersunk.
