I have found that the IKEA MYGGBETT sensor isn't tall enough to line up with some of my doors (front and back door) so i've created a extension peice which clips in inbetween the sensor (battery side) and the part with the attached 3M tape meaning you can still use the standard 3m tape which comes with the sensor.
These are push-snap fit and will click into the standard connections on the IKEA MYGGBETT. These extension parts are also stackable meaning you should be able to extend it as far as you need to. In the example picture i've printed three extensions in different colours to show the stacking.
I have printed in both PLA and PETG and they work fine, however have not tried any other materials. I have found with PLA if you repeatedly attach and detach it from the sensor it will eventually wear away the snap fit.
