Fully Customizable Spirit Level Wall Mount
Are you looking for a practical and secure way to hang your spirit level on a wall or pegboard in your workshop? This fully parametric 3D model allows you to generate a spring-loaded mount perfectly tailored to your specific spirit level! Whether you have a slim 40mm level or a massive 100mm professional tool, this mount adapts automatically.

⚙ What you can customize (Customizer):
Level_Width: Enter the exact width of your spirit level in millimeters.
Level_Depth: Enter the depth/thickness of your spirit level in millimeters. (The model automatically adjusts the size of the 3D-printed spring based on these parameters to safely support the tool's weight.)
Screw_Size: Choose between M4 or M5 countersunk screws for mounting.
Spring_Stiffness: Select a Weak, Medium, or Strong spring depending on how firmly you want the level held in the mount.
🖨 Export and Slicing Guide: To get the 4 independent parts onto your build plate, you have two simple options:
Option 1: Quick Export (Recommended)
In the Part_To_Display setting, choose Print_Layout.
Export this single .stl file and import it into your slicer (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, etc.).
Click on the model on the build plate and use the Split to Objects function (shortcut O). The slicer will instantly separate the model into 4 independent parts.
💡 Why is this the best method? In the Print_Layout mode, all parts (including the spring and the top bracket) are already pre-arranged and rotated into the ideal orientation for the strongest possible 3D print!
Option 2: Export Part by Part If you prefer separate files, simply change the Part_To_Display parameter and export each part individually:
Main_Body
Moving_Insert
Spring - (Do not forget to lay it flat on the bed in your slicer!)
Top_Bracket
🛠 3D Printing Recommendations:
Material: I highly recommend using PETG (or ABS/ASA). PETG has natural flexibility, which is crucial for the proper functioning of the 3D-printed spring. PLA is not recommended because it can crack or lose its elasticity over time under constant pressure.
Supports: Yes, supports are required for the overhangs on the main body and the moving insert (in the area where the parts slide together).
Infill & Walls: For the spring, use 100% infill (or maximum wall loops/perimeters) to ensure maximum strength. For the rest of the parts, standard 15–20% infill (e.g., Gyroid) and 4 perimeters/wall loops will work perfectly.
