SIMINPUT is a simple modular button box with six slots. The design is completely open source, so you can build you own box and create your own modules.
It's designed to be for everybody. If you enjoy building stuff yourself, or you just want to buy a button box that's ready to use, you can do it with SIMINPUT.
The great strength of the system lies in its expandability and adaptability. You can replace any module down the line in a five minute process, or just adjust the labels to suit your new application. You only have to get a SIMINPUT box once, and you can keep expanding your controls for life.
The online configurator makes it easy to visualize how your box would look. From there you can order it from me, assembled or as a kit, or use it to plan a box you build yourself.
The modules are in separate posts. You can find them here:

Printing instructions
Almost all components print with standard settings for 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height and no supports. I use matte PETG for most parts, but any material would do.

Mounting components
For all mounting components, use at least 3 wall loops. The table clamps need extra strengthening around the inner edge. Use a square modifier with 100% concentric infill as shown in the image.
The mounting plates can also use strengthening like this for rigidity, but its not required.
Labels
Printing the labels requires a 0.2mm nozzle and a color swap, though no multi-color printer is required. You also need a material that is translucent and diffuses light on the bottom layer, plus a dark material that blocks light well for the top. SUNLU meta PLA in white and black works for me.
For the labels: Use layer height 0.1mm, first layer height 0.15mm, and one wall loop. Place your text on the top and set it up to be a 0.2mm deep cut. Put an automatic pause at the start of the second to last layer so you can switch filament.
You can also just use the OrcaSlicer example and change the texts from there.

Assembly instructions
Main enclosure:
Apply the inserts to the box and plate (low heat and gentle pressure helps a lot).
Screw in the PCB and don't forget the washers.
Put the plate cover around the plate (requires some persuasion).
Screw your modules in, plug in the connectors, and screw on the plate.
Table clamp:
Screw in the screw until it just comes out on the other side.
Glue the grip plate on using the pivot piece.
Cut rubber grips to size and stick them on.
