Modular drill attachment that uses replaceable strips of sand paper.
Parametric, open-source, free. Made in ShapeScript.

Assembly
Cut out and insert strips of sandpaper into all (or some) of the slots, then put in the plug and tighten the nut.
Optionally, grind the tip of the bolt to be a triangle or hexagon (to prevent it from slipping inside the chuck).
If removing the plug becomes a challenge, run a copper wire, fishing line, or strong thread through the loops, and use that for pulling.
