Completely redesigned the gutter mount in FreeCad, the main dimensions are roughly the same as far as width and length. I used 22.5mm thread with pitch=2 . This fits most standard low-voltage lighting fixtures. Works great in gutters as it puts the light in the center of gutter away from roof shingles (most of the time). The first model I have used on job for over a year now and have not had any damages/breaks/deformation; the reason for the redesign was to practice fillets , increase strength, and if possible improve visual aesthetics.
Print with ASA for UV/Heat protection.
4 wall loops
40% infill (you can adjust this but i would not go below 35% infill and have not needed/gone above 55% infill.
~2h41m print time on a K1 Max
Have not tried mounting these to a tree yet but am looking forward to testing that as a moonlight downlight. The fixture can mount from the underside just as well from the top. I have mounted from the underside underneath a deck to moonlight a patio and it worked great. Just do not flip the mount upside down as the direction of support matter.
Cheers.
