This small but essential clip secures the PTFE tube (Bowden tube) at the hotend input of your 3D printer (e.g., Creality Ender 3, CR-10, and similar models).

Due to the constant push-pull movements of the extruder motor, the pneumatic push fitting tends to give way slightly over time. This creates play in the PTFE tube, leading to inaccurate filament feeding (under-extrusion) or, in the worst-case scenario, the tube slipping out completely.

This clip is simply slid under the moving collar of the fitting. It locks the mechanism in the "engaged" position and holds the tube firmly in place.

Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG or ABS/ASA recommended (better flexibility and temperature resistance than PLA, though PLA works fine as a quick fix).

  • Infill: 100% (the model is so small it will print solid anyway).

  • Layer Height: 0.1mm to 0.2mm for a precise fit.

  • Supports: Not required.
