I made these spacers because I wanted...
Consistent, no-fuss spacing between docks (roughly 45mm)
To help align the docks perpendicular (at least a little bit)
A splash of accent color to decorate the docking bar
Spacers are mounted using common M3x8mm screws + square nuts + nut carriers. If the nut + carrier is too tall and tight then gently squeeze them with pliers to firmly seat the nut into the carrier. I used an extrusion from DLLPDF
Printed in PolyMaker ASA, 25% infill, 260C/110C/50C (extruder/bed/chamber).
Because of the tolerances involved, print a single one first to ensure proper fit! Once fit is confirmed, print the rest of them.
IMPORTANT: I found that the angled edge meeting the tool holder was misaligned and causing the tool dock to "kick-out" at a slight angle on V4 (removed). I've uploaded a V5 which takes care of this and also looks a little better.
