Tired of classroom clutter? Need a gift for the math teacher in your life?
Keep your classroom compasses out of the drawer or bin and out on display!
The model holds 20, but you can edit the *.f3d to make it hold more.
Print Me
No supports required.
This fits the style of compass pictured that uses standard pencils.
I printed the one pictured with a giant 0.8 mm nozzle, but pick yours according to your needs.
With a 0.8 mm nozzle, I printed with 1 perimeter and no infill.
Use 2 perimeters with a 0.4 mm nozzle.
Minimal infill required. I recommend less than 10% support cubic.
Use the PrusaSlicer measuring tool to scale for slightly different sizes of compass.
Set your compass so pencil and stylus are parallel.
Measure the distance between the pencil point and stylus of your compass.
Use the PrusaSlicer measurement tool between a pair of hexagonal tubes and scale accordingly.
Note: There is some tolerance for various sizes of pencils, so some slight scaling is possible, especially for larger compasses.
Remix Me!
As with most of my models, I've included the *.f3d file for you to modify.
