-Used the Overnight Sensations MTM build as a template: https://sites.google.com/site/undefinition/bookshelf-speakers/overnightsensationmtm

-this is a long print…. M4x6 Heatsets and 8x3mm mags for a future grill. used a bead of epoxy in the groove, and painted on the face to make sure its airtight.

-Re-designed original for single Front facing port, and to be used mainly for desk or a simple stereo setup.

-Everything I could round that touches sound I rounded to see if it helps with distortion from the size.

-Included a graph of the previous version with a too long port, but should be testing these soon as bass response was improved.

-Trying to hit 45ish hz,-crappy testing in room on desk shows I'm close, sub 50hz drop-off now. Need to find a nice outside day to final test.

-Added tiny extra bracing, when Epoxying everything together make sure to paint all the flat sides that touch each-other, helps keep it sounding dense.

-Used a single sheet of polyfill cut and following curve around the back.

-Working on a front grille, haven't decided on look yet, i like those 80's shade glasses look maybe? or simple cloth stretch like always, ideas welcome.

-Been CRANKING these with a Fiio Level 1 amp and they do perform VERY well to my ears, crisp and bassy if you want it, and they can soak up some wattage.

-Crossover from Ebay fits the internal mounts.

  • O.K. I PRINTED THIS HEAVY, if you watch videos and look at what others say, my wall count/infill may be “a bit” excessive, but they have that feeling of a nice dense speaker you pick up and feel that bit of instant quality. So if you decide to try some other printing parameters PLEASE let me know how it goes.
