I needed to power some wearable electronics from an USB port on something I could hold in my pockets, but they were using too little power for my real power banks.
So I made a case for a 4xAA battery pack with an USB port soldered on it (to be used with rechargeable batteries, for a total of 4.8-ish V, which apparently is working.
Tolerance is quite tight, so that the case will stay closed by friction.
