This 3D-printable spinning top combines a passthrough fidget with a unique self-centering mechanism. Unlike a standard passthrough, its carefully balanced inner spinning section delivers smooth spins lasting around 20 seconds. Even when dropped from 4 feet, the mechanism automatically re-centers itself and continues spinning without needing to be restarted.
I've made over 10 prototypes to refine the design and achieve the best possible performance. It's also especially fun to print in different colors! Mix and match colors to create your own unique combinations.
Print Settings: The included print settings are designed to work with Bambu Lab printers and other compatible FDM printers, including the budget-friendly FlashForge Adventurer 5M. Simply select your own printer in the slicer and keep the provided settings, especially the infill, unchanged to preserve the intended performance.
