My love of all things Metroid demanded it. This print:

  • comes in two parts - the spinner, and an 8mm “bump” to glue into the back to raise a 3mm thick magnet (if your magnet is thicker, you probably wont need this spacer!)
  • has magnets! - use an 8mm wide magnet, with a thickness of at least 3mm
  • is dual color - included in the .gcode

Print Instructions

I used PETG primarily because I wanted to keep it Prusament Orange and Black. No reason you can't use PLA. Print flat, no supports needed.

If your magnet is an 8mm x 3mm, like mine, print the “bump” spacer. Glue this into the center hole in the back of the spinner, and your magnet on top. If your magnet is thicker, you should just be able to glue it in the center hole directly.
