Amount of material to print the Base is huge, I reduced by half the weight reducing the walls, base and print time.

This gravity spool holder is great. (edit 2024: but useless, screw to hold spools is a pain after a few change over, finished with dust over it…)
I was a little concerned about the amount of material for a simple base, between 90 and 84m, depending of the infill, that is a lot.
Time, 5h15 for the original, and only 2h12 for the light version, there also it makes a nice difference, thanks to the 0.8mm nozzle… or over 12 hours with the proposed fine print settings and 0.4mm nozzle.
So thanks to the available Step files, it was easy to cut off the walls and reduce the bottom layer, leaving only what is necessary. More can always be done…
I printed the Base with @aprinter white PetG, 0.8mm Nozzle, at a print speed of 30mm/s, layer height 0.64mm and 245°C for the copper nozzle of the zero tool starlex all metal hot end system, to keep up the high print flow.
It turned out good, functional. I added after a little hole into the front to insert the filament when the other part is not necessary.
No other part than the gravity_spoolholder_base has been modified, I left them as is, also left the original base files in this model.
Hope you enjoy.
