Mini joystick for old computers as Atari, Commodore, Amiga, etc. Design target was fast reaction ability and easy construction with cheap price.
Assembly time is about 30 minutes + some soldering experience.
Parts (see photos):
- 5 x microswitch 5 mm,
- 1 x screw ∅4/40 mm (support for control handle),
- 7 x screw ∅3/8 mm (connecting parts, cables, height regulation),
- joystick cable with proper connector (connector is longer than common canon 9 connector - see photo) or you can use joystick extension cable and cut it.

Mini joystick lze použít pro počítače Atari, Commodore, Amiga a dalších dle zapojení. Cíl návrhu je rychlá reakční schopnost a co nejjednodušší konstrukce při nejpříznivější ceně. Čas potřebný na sestavení joysticku je cca 30 minut + připájení vodičů.
K výrobě joysticku potřebujete:
- 5 ks mikroswitch 5mm,
- 1 ks vrut ∅4/40 mm (slouží pro výztuhu ovládací rukojeti)
- 7 ks vrut ∅3/8 mm (4 slouží ke spojení dílů, 2 upevnění kabelu uvnitř joysticku a 1 výšková regulace),
- vhodný kabel se správným konektorem.
Jako kabel lze použít:
běžný prodlužovací kabel pro joystick, který ucvaknete (stojí kolem 70,- Kč, ale z Číny jde až 3 měsíce), nebo využijete kabel s konektorem z rozbitého joysticku, eventuálně libovolný 6-žilový kabel + joystickový 9-pinový konektor Canon 9 / DE9 (je delší, viz foto, takže běžný nepasuje).
