Designers: use this object as a Negative Volume in PrusaSlicer to add a keyhole hanger to your existing design. The keyhole opening is 8.8mm on bottom circle, 4.4mm on the top, 1mm thick with a 1mm space behind it for the nail head.
Alternately, to use this negative volume in OpenSCAD:
difference () {
(your existing object here);
import (keyhole-hanger-negative.stl);
}
(Pro-tip: drag an STL, 3MF, OBJ from File Manager into OpenSCAD to automatically generate an “import” statement with full path automatically.)
Or, otherwise boolean subtract this object in your favorite 3-D CAD software.
Note: subtracted hole is 2mm deep from outside surface of your shape. Original object needs to be greater than 2mm thick to start with. Consider weight of object being hung and size Z-thickness accordingly.
