The CCTREE spools I have, have notches in them. These notches catch on the Bambu AMS feeder rollers, causing feed errors. At worst, I believe this could lead to damage to the AMS. So, these clip in place clips are designed to fill the notches, ensuring a smooth roll off the spool over the feeder rollers in the Bambu AMS.
