I needed a minimalistic expandable filament roll storage system that was cheap but allowed the rolls to be in plastic bags, or vacuum bags. This solution uses 15mm wooden dovels that snap fit into the bracket once screwed to the wall.
If you are to hang as many rolls as I have in the picture, I would increase the number of brackets holding it up, or use a though filament like Esun PLA+ or ABS. I had mine in regular PLA and after about 2 years one of the snapped.. That said, I reprinted it in PLA+ and it's been holding up since, even with all that weight on it.
