This is a quick release brace that I use when designing stage walls for a local children's theatre. The wall is framed using 1x4x and the brace screws directly to the frame. A 2x4 with a 30 degree cut on the top and a 60 degree cut on the bottom is inserted into the brace and then a ½" hole is drilled through the leg. The included pin is inserted and used to lock the leg into the brace. (See images for more detail) Additionally, a ½ dowel can be used in place of the printed pin.
Printed in PLA with 4x wall layers and 20% infill.
