My MacBook Pro screen stopped working, but I learned that you can use iPads as external displays. So after many tries and prototypes I came up with this.
The holder snaps onto your MacBook, providing airflow through vent holes. iPad also snaps into place (with a satisfying clicking sound!) and model holds it pretty tight.
I use an app called "YAM Display" to connect iPad to my laptop, but there are many alternatives.
