After assembling my self-layouted SCART breakout board with surface mount decoupling capacitors and signal attenuation resistors, I wanted a robust enclosure for the SCART connectors to be mounted in. This design accommodates structures up to 18 mm high and can be closed with 3mm screws instead of flimsy plastic clips. Inexpensively available anti-kink sleeves can simply be pressed in.

Can be printed without supports. The screw holes need to be pierced with the screws as they include a one layer bridge to improve printability.

Additional parts needed (per scart plug)
  • 2 x M3 Bolts, 15 mm length
  • 2 x M3 (4mm*5,7mm) threaded inserts (optional)
  • 1 x scart plug (i recommend DISTRELEC RND 205-01033)
  • 1 x anti-kink sleeve for 7mm cables - I used "Knickschutz 7mm" from ab-elektroshop with ML 808-10 cable, 8 x 0.08 mm²;  mounting hole is 9mm x 8mm
