The mcu serves as a BLE client in the bedroom (collecting blood pressure measurements) and I had the need to dimm the very bright led and wrap something around the contacts. This housing, which I designed aiming for flexible filament like TPU fits on the mcu like a sock, cupping the contacts on both sides.
tiny holes ave the 2 mini-buttons are provided, so you take a tiny nail, cut the sharp end to a reasonable length and thus make a pushbutton to restart the mcu. Sadly, my batch of ESP32, they all crash rather often and reboot is often needed.
It is a fast print, ~35 min and takes 7g or about 2,4m filament. Print on the small end as shown to avoid supports, a bit of stringing at the top end but as I print with bowden stringing is hard to avoid with TPU.
When you put the mcu into the housing check (and push) until the metal cover rests in the recess.
