Well, I did it again. What began as a simple remix turned into a week-long project. Long story short I was trying to do a relatively simple remix but ran into issues with some oddities in the original model (example: a 10μm triangular cut made it impossible to adjust some chamfers), so I recreated it from scratch while maintaining full backward compatibility. My hope is that remixing this model will be significantly easier than the original.

For now, there are three variants:

  1. Selftap: based on Fabian's original design, with holes sized to mesh with M3 threads. I added some chamfers to make it easier to get the screws started.
  2. Heatset: accepts common “Voron size” M3x5x4 brass inserts. Use this if you need to be able to remove the clip easily.
  3. Unibody: this version is practically useless on its own (unless you want to glue something to it), but can be used as a base for other designs.

The selftap and heatset variants have the same hole spacing as Fabian's design (51mm), allowing either to be used with remixes of the original.
