This is the much-needed case for all people who bought this small RJ45 to Fiber Adapter. They do really work great and I had them Stress Test over a week, so… it works.

What I really missed, was a proper case. It comes in that pure PCB Form with everything exposed and I like my Network tidy, So, I designed this case.

Besides a good Filament like ABS, ASA, PETG, or crazier stuff, you'll need:

2x M3 14+6mm Standoffs

2x M3 4.6x5.7mm Threaded Inserts

and 3x Flathead M3 Screws per Case.

(Obviously, if you buy those, you'll have two of em, a transmitter, and a receiver, so double the Boom List.

For this Print, I used my Bambu Lab P1P with the normal Support Settings, to get a nice and tight fit.

Installation is rather simple but I didn't really make it “easy” to install (sry about that)

Installation Guide:

First install the M3 Threaded Inserts of your choice, the ones listed work for sure

Get the FTTH PCB with the Fiber Connection part, first into the case, and push it through until you are able to lay everything flat. If the RJ45 is giving you some problems, you still would have some leftover Support Material on your print.

Get the Standoffs inside the assembly and screw them in.

Now pop the Lid on and seal it with the last M3 Screws you have (if you have a second one, sorry for the trouble.

Be careful not to hit the wall with your Soldering Iron, while installing the threaded Inserts,

And that's technically it. Enjoy
