Hi, I drew this holder in Blender so I can easily clean old loctite off my esk8 axle threads.
It is not intended for thick thread cutting in steel, that may require more torque than what can be provided with this device. However, it would probably work with small steel diameters or with larger diameters on softer materials, if not used just to clean old residues.
The 3mf file has a modifier that prints the area close to the die using 5 perimeters, while the rest of the model is printed with 3 perimeters. It is positioned with the die hole on the bottom, without supports. It required a little bit of cleaning, it may be better to print it with internal supports.
The print came out a little tight, I had to (gently) hammer the die in. I use it with a dedicated threading die that I will not be taking off, so if you intend to replace the die from time to time, you may want to make a quick test and slightly scale the model up. The two M4 bolts are good to have if the die is a bit loose in the holder, in my case it's just overkill. So if you don't want to use the M4 bolts, just print it tight as I did.
I hope you'll enjoy it, happy printing!
