The PocketPCR is an open-source thermocycler (https://gaudi.ch/PocketPCR/), a compact device used to regulate the temperature of small liquid samples in order to catalyze biological reactions. Particularly, it's utilized in the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), a technique employed extensively in molecular biology to create multiple copies of a specific DNA segment. This technique has a wide range of applications, from DNA cloning for sequencing to genetic fingerprint analysis and gene cloning.

Here we re-share the 3d-printable case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4094823) of this  ultra-portable device.

With this device, designed for affordability and user-friendliness, anyone interested in Do-It-Yourself biology can perform PCR experiments, even in a home setting. Despite its small size, the PocketPCR matches the functionality of larger, laboratory-grade thermocyclers. It's capable of controlling temperatures with high accuracy, setting individual cycle times, and maintaining compatibility with standard lab plasticware and reagents. The PocketPCR operates stand-alone, powered by a simple USB adapter and does not require a computer or smartphone for parameter setting. It is open source hardware and available commercially as  an easy-to-assemble kit with instructions. The provided 3D model file allows users to print a customized case in any color.
