After trying out many commercial cases for my HTPC I decided to design and print my own.
Imho a HTPC needs an optical drive, DVB, and enough thermal capacity to cope with let's say a 5700G used for gaming with a XBox-Controller in 720p.
Most commercial solutions don't offer space for an optical drive or if they do, they block the APU fan and cause high temperatures and noise.
I decided to go as compact as possible and use an external DVB tuner solution instead of a PCIe.
The images show my first design with a switch/LED combo I had at hand, the model uses a standardized switch with LED.
Print in PLA oder better, infill and perimeters at wish, I recommend supports for the cutouts of the drive and the back panel.
Screws: 2 x M3x8 FHCS for the case cover, 4 x M3x10 SHCS/BHCS for the feet
