Hey all.

I wanted to upgrade my spool solution to these large and heavy spools to something with bearings. So, without re-inventing the wheel I sourced the internet for inspiration. I found Polymaker has a model similar to this, but didn't include the bearing rollers for the spool itself so, with about 12 hours of trial and error in cad, I designed this around some bearings I bought a while ago off amazon.

This project requires:

[4x] m3x5x4 heatset inserts [voron spec] [heatsets from DFH]
[4x] m3x8 SHCS
[4x] m5x35 SHCS
[4x] m5 hexnuts
[8x] 605ZZ Bearings [5mm(ID) x 14mm(OD) x 5mm(W)]
Printed Parts

Instructions:

1) Insert heatset inserts into the two post on body_plate

2) Press-fit two bearings into each side of the bearing_rollers. (May need some gentle persuasion from a hammer)

3) Attach the two bodies together using [2x] m3x8 SHCS

4) Put a m5x35 shcs through the body_plate and put in a bearing_roller. Only slightly tighten the m5 screw through to the nut until just secured. It doesn't need to be very tight. Overtightening may cause the bearing to catch. There are two rollers for each component.

5) Do everything twice, because you need two of these to properly work. :)
