Why and what is it for
The factory leveling probe doesn't actually measure the surface of the build plate. It is measuring the metal layer in the middle of the stock build plate. It is also prone to inconsistent measurements due to heat. And doesn't account for surface bumps and craters.

Assembly instructions
For the klicky probe
Follow this link for assembly instructions. It's a lengthy screen post, convenient for phones.
Stock cooling duct provided in files will work for Gen1 and Gen2 extruders.
For optional 5015 Cooling part mod by @Dylan - Gen2 extruder only!
If you'd like to improve the part cooling, don't print the new part cooling duct from the Snapmaker_2.0_Klicky_probe.3mf file. Instead grab the 5015 3mf files attached.
Refer to comment section in his post. Somebody posted pictures of the assembly.
Files for this mod included here, they are compatible with Klicky probe. You will also find Revised version. I modified it to be used without metal inserts - cooling duct accepting screws into plastic with this revision. Check pictures for details.
How to use
Nothing changed for machine brains. The process is the same.
Slide the probe down, start leveling. When prompted by machine to set Z-offset - slide the probe up and set the z-offset.
Additional Information
The mod works with Gen 1 and Gen 2 extruders. Gen 2 extruder has front vents in the housing. Like on the pictures. See updates below section for details on compatibility.

10/13/23 - adding modified part cooling duct as an option. Credit to @Dylan, he created the 5015 cooling mod and agreed to slightly modify it, so it can be used with the Klicky probe.
9/03/23 - updated the 3mf file. Removed all STL files in effort to provide uniform experience for my projects.
7/24/23 - Thanks to Win3002 for providing measurements of the GEN 1 extruder. Adding universal duct for print cooling, that will fit both GEN1 and GEN2 extruder bolt pattern.
