Update: added cutout for sd card access.
I have redesigned the xtouch screen mount by Xps3riments/leejsmith to use a snap case that is slimmer and doesn't require any screws, The snapping is an accident but it holds well enough for it's purpose.
It mounts using 2 magnets that press fit in the back side of the case. I use 10x3mm magnets easily available on Amazon. 2 more magnets are press fitted onto the screen mount. I wanted something that can be portable so went for a less permanent fixture method.
Mount the PCB by pushing the board down until the screw holes snap into place. The standoffs for the pcb have a little overhang, so that's why there's a bit of stringing, but it works ok and it all prints ok without supports.
Without the mount it can also serve as a case for CYD ( cheap yellow display) ESP32 projects.
