USB Microscope Replacement Mount
I bought a USB Microscope off of AliExpress, and started using it, when my mount for it broke - so I decided to model it, and print it… and this is the result.
PLA works just fine for this job.
Keep in mind that the tolerances for the ball joint may be too tight (or loose), and can result in it being immovable (or move way too easily) in certain axes! A possible solution might be to orient the ball joint in the direction perpendicular to the layers.
The model also includes some notches on the inside that prevent the device from sliding around the mount.
The model on the pictures was printed using these printer settings:
Printer: Original Prusa MINI+
Filament: Creality PLA Blue
Firmware: 5.1.0-alpha1 (Input Shaper-enabled firmware!)
Profile: Default PrusaSlicer printer profile
Infill: 100%, rectilinear
Layer height and profile: 0,10mm FAST DETAIL
Print time: ~30 min
