This plug seals filament dry boxes that use a pneumatic coupler, such as the Dyna Box. Leave a bit of filament hanging outside, and simply push this plug on top of it to seal the box. When you want to use the filament there is no need to open the box, just pull it off and grab it.
Required Parts
Print plug.stl from this project, or simply use the included 3mf file You need roughly 5cm of 4mm PTFE tubing.
How To Print
I've provided a 3mf file to print 6 plugs at optimal settings.
If you want to print it yourself, I'd suggest printing it with the hole down, and using a simple tree support inside of the hole to support the end.
This was designed for PLA, if you're using a filament with high shrinkage such as ABS, you might have to apply 0.1-0.2mm x/y hole compensation.
Assembly
The PTFE tube should be a snug fit, push it roughly 7mm into the hole.
