BOM

A pair of M4 screws (length between 7 mm and 11 mm) and nuts (both hex and T will do). M3 screws and nuts may also do the trick if matched with a washer, but do it at your own risk.

Printing

Print the model in the given orientation and no supports will be needed.

Other settings are more of a personal taste, but keep in mind that this is a structural part, so I would choose tougher materials with higher heat resistance, specially if you print in an enclosure.

I personally picked ABS with 0.2 mm layer height and 40% gyroid infill.

A note on the filament path

Changing the angle to 90° gives more free-space, with the trade-off that the filament path may become awkward depending on your setup.

Since my printer is modded to direct drive with the BTT SFS V2 filament sensor mounted in the X stepper motor using this mount (designed by me), the filament path is fine.

A few words on compatibility

The original model was designed for the Neptune 2 but worked fine in my Neptune 2S and, judging by the comments, it also works with the Neptune 3.

Since this remix didn't change the extrusion mount neither the spool holder holes, the compatibility probably didn't change.
