I couldn't remove the screw of the nose pad, so this design goes around the screw and fits inside the housing firmly.

I've changed my settings a bit for this one.

  • I would advise you to increase the retraction distance a little bit, slow down if you are printing fast normally, and set the layer height to 0.12 mm.

  • The gap will probably get a very thin layer of stringing. Try to cut that in between with a utility knife or a razor. If you don't have stringing, then it's good! But if you have, try to trim it a little bit so the screw can fit in between. Be gentle because the walls are thin and can break if you apply too much force.

  • Then push the nose pad into the hole just a little bit, and then switch to pliers and push the rest of it. I advise you to use pliers because your hands might slip and you can break the walls inside of the housing.

I've failed 3 times but then it worked like a charm! Don't be discouraged if you can't get it right the first time. It's a very small part, so some trial and error is normal.

I've also uploaded the .step and .prt files if you like to change them for your needs.

Happy printing!
