I am still working kinks out of this design.
I made an LED light by putting strip lights in a cake pan. I then designed a holder that sits on the desk and shines the light down onto my printer. A wooden dowel is used as the upright piece although pvc could be substituted.
An OpenSCAD file is included that allows you to change variable values to match the desk and light you are working with.
